What do you get when two electronic dance producers want to record their first full-length album solely featuring the influences and inspirations that have shaped the very success they obtain today? Introducing N.A.S.A.'s The Spirit of Apollo, an intrinsic harmonic melting pot rendered by the the similarities and differences that remind us why we all love this thing they call hip-hop.

In one corner you have the legendary Ol’ Dirty Bastard collaborating with The Pharcyde's Fatlip, and before you can get your head straight you're hit with Chali 2na side-to-side with Mr. P-Funk himself George Clinton. There's even The Cool Kids cranking it out with veterans Ghostface Killah and Scarface, an artist line-up for the ages that would have never crossed anyone's mind.

Just by looking at the track list alone I can say that I'm pumped for February 17th. Albums like these only come around once every few years, but I've never seen one so compacted with some of the greatest names in rap music history. Heck, it's even coming from the nontraditional production duo N.A.S.A. (Squeak E. Clean and DJ Zegon) who are far from best-known for their work with hip-hop artists.
