PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS INTERVIEW WITH GOLD DUST MEDIA

The majority of new hip-hop artists coming into the game are huge jokes. Literally, they are a large a bunch of senseless jokes. After pathetically getting discovered on MySpace, they are forcefully pressured by major record labels to record successful full-length albums ring tones. Actually, the whole ring tone doesn't even have to be hot, as long as the chorus is banging then everyone's happy. Hip-hop's just one big party infested with cheesy dance moves, preschool-level beats, and meaningless lyrics. Someone needs to learn how to through a real party. Someone needs to book People Under the Stairs.

After dropping straight knowledge on their last album O.S.T., Thes One and Double K are rewinding back to what they do best - having a good ol' time. Although their upcoming project Fun DMC is an all-out party record, it is still crafted for the sophisticated hip-hop listener seeking to take a short break from preaching MCs. Gold Dust Media conducted a great feature of the Los Angeles rap duo while they were on tour in New York promoting the new record. Soulja Boy, get ready to take some good notes, because class is in session on September 30th. Download PUTS' first single off the LP here.
