So I guess MF Doom's new album isn't titled Impostor after all. Born Into This will be MF Doom's first solo album since MM..Food as hip-hop's infamous villain is finally prepping to come out from under his rock after nearly four years. J Dilla and Dangermouse are among the producers who worked on the project and Raekwon and Ghostface Killah will also make guest appearances.
I can already imagine the chaos and pandemonium surrounding this album when the October 21th release date rolls around. MF Doom, who now wants to be referred to as simply Doom, has established a discreditable relationship with many of his loyal fans after hiring impostors to appear in place of himself during performances. Some of which have occurred at widely celebrated events such as Rock the Bells. Will fans take the stunt personally and refuse to support Born Into This? Or will they learn to accept the impostors as another one of Doom's rather bizarre and confusing actions. Either way, Daniel Dumile is finally back once and for all.
